About SiteAlert

A practical monitoring tool for people responsible for client websites

SiteAlert helps agencies, freelancers and developers watch uptime, SSL certificates and performance without turning website monitoring into another complicated system to manage.

From the founder

Built and operated by Akoc Wol

I built SiteAlert because I saw the same problem come up again and again: when you manage multiple client websites, manually checking whether everything is working simply does not scale. If the first sign of a problem is a message from a client, you are already reacting instead of staying ahead.

I studied software development before designing and building SiteAlert myself. While working on websites and web applications, I noticed that monitoring often became scattered across different tools, notifications and manual checks. I wanted to create one focused platform that gives a clear overview of what needs attention and enough context to understand what actually happened.

That is why SiteAlert is built primarily for agencies, freelancers and developers. Many of them are responsible for dozens of client websites at the same time. They need reliable monitoring, useful incident history and clear alerts—not another complicated platform that creates more work than it saves.

SiteAlert is operated by me, Akoc Wol, from the Netherlands. I make the product decisions, build new features and provide support. When you contact SiteAlert, you are speaking directly with the person responsible for building and maintaining the product, rather than being passed between different departments.

I believe monitoring software should help people solve problems faster, not become another system that needs constant attention. My goal is to keep improving SiteAlert based on real customer feedback while keeping the product focused, transparent and easy to use. I would rather build a product that solves a few problems exceptionally well than one that tries to do everything.

Trust also means being honest about what the product can and cannot guarantee. My identity, support address, legal pages and security overview are public. SiteAlert explains how incidents are confirmed and clearly distinguishes queued or provider-accepted alerts from guaranteed delivery. If you have questions about the product, billing, privacy or security, you can always reach me through the published SiteAlert support address.

Practical by design

SiteAlert keeps the core workflow direct: monitor the websites you manage, confirm downtime before opening an incident, show the context needed to investigate, and use the communication channels your plan supports.
